At the beginning of November 2013 Trimpley Village Hall hosted a local Beatles tribute band –
During the first half of the evening the ‘Magical History Tour’ took the audience on a high speed tour through the history of the Beatles, with songs to illustrate the story. This was a condensed version of their full ‘Magical History Tour’, which convinced us that we should book them again, this time for the full Tour, with backdrop, costumes and a full evening of Beatles music!
The second half of the evening was given over to ‘Tom the Frop – Rock & Pop for all occasions’. These were the same band members but playing a wider range of music. The room was full to capacity so there was little room for dancing, but after some persuasion [and pushing back of chairs] members of the audience got up to dance. This proved to be a most entertaining musical evening, with lots of humour, all thoroughly enjoyed by both young and old.
