On Sunday 3rd June 2012 a Diamond Jubilee Big Lunch was held at the Village Hall.
Some 60 people, including a good number of children of all ages, enjoyed a buffet lunch followed by a Diamond Jubilee Quiz, face painting and other entertainment.
The hall was decorated with flags, bunting and balloons.
All the children present were given a Diamond Jubilee Mug and flag as a memento of the occasion.
A grant from WFDC Diamond Jubilee Celebratory Fund helped towards costs and enabled adult ticket prices to be kept low, with no charge for children.
