A fundraising concert with Graham Breeze and Toby Wilson was held in the Village Hall on Saturday 1st March 2014. ‘Breeze & Wilson’ are an acoustic duo playing guitars, dobros and banjos, and singing in harmony.
They entertained a crowd of around 60 people with their music and chat, including stories of their experiences in Canada. We all enjoyed their extremely talented and enjoyable performance.
We are most grateful to them for travelling from Staffordshire to put on this fundraising concert for us. They would only accept payment for their travelling expenses and charged no performance fee. This enabled the Village Hall to benefit from an excellent profit on the night.
