In February 2017, the club room at Trimpley Village Hall suffered considerable damage as a result of Storm Doris. The high winds took the roof off the club room and bar, allowing rain to pour in. Fortunately, the main Hall was not damaged and continued to function as normal. However, activities in the club room were cancelled for a short period of time whilst the room was unusable.
A lot of hard work is rewarded –
By the end of July 2017 the new roof was on and we now have a lovely new room, completely refurbished with entirely new interior, new furnishings and a new bar. Our thanks go to the Chairman, (who project managed the work) and all the contractors involved.
Grand Opening
To celebrate the grand re-opening of the social club room, we invite the local community to come along on Sunday 20th August (between 4pm and 8pm) to see the new facilities now available. The main Hall and Club room will be open, with live music, refreshments and the brand new Bar.
